After six weeks of heated competition, the 3D Jam closed with 150+ final submissions from developers in more than 40 countries around the globe. Now the first round of judging is underway – and you can vote for your favorites!
Sci-fi space odysseys and mysterious forests, quirky puzzles and addictive games, action-packed thrills and artistic experiments – there’s an incredible range of beta demos for you to download and play. Virtual reality was enormously popular among the jammers, with over 50% of submissions designed for the Oculus Rift.
With so many experimental builds submitted, the 3D Jam is the largest IndieCade game jam to date. Past IndieCade jam partners include Oculus and Sony, and we’re excited to see how global jams can change the face of indie game development. Over the next couple of weeks, we’ll be judging each submission, with the semi-finalists announced on December 20th.
We’ve also saved you a seat at the judge’s table! From now until Tuesday, December 16th at 5pm PT, you can rate your experience with the demos at itch.io/jam/leapmotion3djam. Not only do you have an impact on the final scores, but community favorites will be eligible for prizes.
