At Leap Motion, we’re always working to make the Airspace experience truly global. A few weeks ago, we introduced Airspace Store support for the Euro, British pound, Japanese yen, and Chinese yuan alongside the US dollar. Recently, we introduced 9 additional currencies – the Swiss franc, Thai baht, Swedish krona, South Korean won, and Canadian, Hong Kong, Australian, Singapore, and Taiwanese dollars.
Now, when people in these countries are logged into the Airspace Store, they’ll see apps listed in their local currency rather than in US dollars. Here’s the latest map of the countries where people can buy apps in their local currencies:
Please note: since some credit cards don’t allow non-USD charges, some people in these countries will still see prices in USD. They can unlock local pricing by changing their payment method to one that supports it, such as Visa or MasterCard.
This is just the beginning, as we continue to expand our platform and introduce new features that bring 3D interaction to more people around the globe. Where would you like to see us go next? Post your thoughts @LeapMotion or on our Facebook page.
