Less than a month after our last update, we’re rolling out several new features in version 1.1 of the Leap Motion software. Here are some of the new features you’ll find when you update:
Hover taglines. When you hover over an app tile in Airspace Home, you’ll see a short 90-character description of the app.
Custom directory. One of the most popularly requested features from our community is now available. By accessing “Set Install Directory” from the main menu, you can install your Airspace apps anywhere on your computer.
Out of the box. Just in time for the holidays, we’ve improved Airspace Home’s out-of-the-box experience – including the Orientation app, introduction tutorial, and sign-in screens.
Under the hood. Version 1.1 also includes an improved software update mechanism, a new Windows USB driver for non-embedded devices, and other features that will make it easier for you to access and download Leap Motion apps.
With this latest update – plus nearly 150 unique games, creative tools, and other cool apps in the newly redesigned Airspace Store – there’s never been a better time to try your hand at Leap Motion apps. To upgrade now to the latest version of Airspace Home:
Windows: Access “Controller Settings” from the Airspace Home menu (below left)
Mac: Access “Settings” from the Leap Motion menu (below right)
From there, click on “Check for Updates” (see below). We recommend that you have Airspace Home set to automatically check for updates, so you can enjoy the most up-to-date software.
